Mission and Goals

Journeymen Theater Ensemble is dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for theater professionals to create art that addresses social and moral issues that challenge and inspire its artists and audiences.

Philosophy
Founded on and guided by Christian principles, Journeymen Theater challenges each team member to love the individuals and companies who work for and with JTE.  Love is defined as “patient and kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres.” (I Corinthians 13: 4-7)  These are the values JTE espouses and encourages its associates to strive for.  Also, in consideration of the Christian principles that govern JTE, it is respectfully requested that its associates not use the Lord’s name in vain while working for and/or representing the theater company
