Artistic Associate
Mary C. began doing theatre at The Greenbrier Valley Theatre in her small hometown of Lewisburg, West Virginia at the age of 9. Since then, she has performed steadily and worked behind the scenes in just about every facet. She is a graduate of The George Washington University with a BA in Theatre. During school, she studied Shakespeare at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and street theatre at Friche in Paris. She is also an advanced student at the Studio Theatre Acting Conservatory. Mary C. was a member of National Players tours 54 and 55 and performed in Tartuff (Marianne), As You Like It (Celia), Our Town (Emily), and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Puck). In the DC area her acting credits include: Bartleby (Ginger) Journeymen Theater, The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie (Monica) Studio Theatre, The Story (Jessica) African Theatre, and Sexual Icons, Horizons Theatre. She is also a member of The Back on the Block Company (BOBCo) African Continuum’s new community outreach program.
