Artistic Associate
Katherine McCann is a singer, actor and activist. She was one of 36 vocalists
from around the world selected to participate in the 2007 Cabaret Conference at
Yale University—a comprehensive training program created in partnership with the
Yale School of Drama and Yale Repertory Theatre. Her recent sold-out solo
cabaret "Return to Me" featured George Fulginiti on piano and providing music
direction, Bruno Nasta on violin and Matt Murray on bass
). Her stage work includes Trifles (Mrs. Hale)
and For All Time (Nanette) for the American Century Theatre; Crestfall (Allison,
U/S) at Studio Theatre/Second Stage, and the Washington Premiere of A Man of No
Importance (Lily) with Theatre Lab. Katherine is a graduate of the Studio
Theater Acting Conservatory, is a member of the D.C. Cabaret Network,
and holds an M.Phil. in International Peace Studies from
Trinity College (Dublin, Ireland), an M.Th. (Ethics) from Garrett Theological
Seminary and a B.A. (English) from Kenyon College.
